Creating perspectives: Education for children in Tanzania

In the rural Morogoro region of Tanzania, we want to give children and young people the chance for a future-oriented education. Many families in the village of Kidatu live from subsistence farming and have little access to adequate supplies, safe learning conditions, and long-term support. The school is a place of learning but also a place where basic needs often cannot be met because they receive no government support. Our project supports the local school community by providing urgently needed resources and laying the foundation for a better future today.
Through direct collaboration with the local school community and our work on site, we have found that many children, despite high motivation, face real obstacles in their daily school life. The main challenges are:

• Students often come to class without proper nutrition because their families cannot afford regular meals.
• Basic school materials such as notebooks, pens, textbooks, or medical care are only limited or not available at all, making learning and development difficult.
• Further education and access to long-term learning opportunities are financially unattainable for many children.

Our project aims to break down these barriers and empower children to develop their talents and seize long-term opportunities.
